Looking at the statistics on Insights, it seems as though the search term 'Bahai' has actually lost popularity over the last three years. What is your interpretation?

Great post Kevint! I like this one related to work:
"Work is love made visible.
And if you cannot work with love but only with your distaste, it is better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take alms of those who work with joy…"

Indeed! What's the use of staying at work without love on it. You're life will always be miserable if you're unhappy with your work. ;-) Kevint do you know by any chnace where I can get a copy of the book you're referring to? I'm quite interested to read on it.

Thanks,
Joanne

@Marco
I definitely don't mind. Please do. :)

@Thomas
Thomas, thanks a lot for the info with improved historical accuracy. The bibliography looks great! (if only I could read French). :) I did read what was in english: Shoghi Effendi's letters to Edwin Scott are really great.

Hi,

Nice find! But it's an article written in 1913, about the second of the two sojourns in Paris of Abdu'l-Baha in 1913, not 1911.

It is the reference 3.1.20 in my Bibliography : http://www.geocities.com/thlinard/publications/bibliographie-1

"Boisson, Alban. Le nouveau prophète de l’Islam, Le Petit Journal (Paris), 4 mai 1913, p. 1-2"

@michael

Thanks. Yeah its definitely an illustration. It's cool to see the perception of the Central Figures from the eyes of spectators during the early days of the Faith.

Nice collection of photos and you are very welcome. :)

The magazine covers looks to more an illustration than anything else. The editor possibly had an image of what he wanted in his mind , but there wasn't a photo available. He probably had a composite drawn from other images and the imagination. Look at `Abdu'l-Baha's body structure, the length of his arms specifically - doesn't resemble anything I have ever seen before.

Thanks for doing the research - makes one wonder what other hidden gems are out there.
